Stage One Talent – Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions Terms & Conditions apply to all services and packages provided by Stage One Talent, including but not limited to Starter Packages, Showreel Pro, and Showreel Elite (together referred to as “the Services”).

By making a payment, booking a slot, or engaging our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.


Stage One Talent – Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

1.1 All bookings are subject to availability and are secured only once payment has been received (in full or as an agreed deposit).

1.2 Once payment is made, a place within a shoot block is reserved and locked in, and production planning begins immediately.

1.3 Due to the nature of the Services (including script preparation, scheduling, and involvement of scene partners), payments are non-refundable once made.


2. Refunds & Cancellations

2.1 No refunds are available once payment has been made. This includes, but is not limited to, circumstances where:

  • A place has been secured within a shoot block;
  • Scripts have been commissioned or issued;
  • Scene partners have begun preparation or learning material.

2.2 This policy applies even if the Client later decides not to proceed, is unable to attend, or changes personal circumstances.


3. Date Changes & Rescheduling

3.1 One (1) date change may be permitted at our discretion, provided:

  • The request is made at least four (4) weeks prior to the scheduled shoot date, wherever reasonably possible; and
  • Alternative availability exists within a future shoot block.

3.2 Additional date changes are not guaranteed and may require an additional fee.

3.3 Requests made less than four weeks before the shoot date may be refused due to production commitments.

3.4 Failure to attend a confirmed shoot date (“no-show”) will result in:

  • Loss of the booking;
  • No refund;
  • No automatic rescheduling.

4. Scripts & Preparation

4.1 Scripts will be issued within five (5) working days of a booking being secured, unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Scripts provided are final and cannot be altered, amended, or rewritten at the request of the Client.

4.3 It is the Client’s responsibility to:

  • Learn all lines and dialogue;
  • Arrive fully prepared for the shoot day.

4.4 Minor guidance or performance assistance may be offered on set where reasonably possible. However:

  • If a Client is unable to perform the role to a workable standard on the day;
  • Or significantly delays production due to lack of preparation;

They may be required to book an additional shoot date at their own cost, or the scene may be discontinued.


5. Scene Partners & Production Commitments

5.1 Scene partners and supporting performers may be engaged and scheduled based on your confirmed booking.

5.2 Once engaged, scene partners begin preparation and line learning. This is a key reason why bookings are non-refundable.


6. Attendance & Conduct

6.1 Clients are expected to arrive on time, prepared, and conduct themselves professionally on set.

6.2 Disruptive, unsafe, or unprofessional behaviour may result in filming being halted, with no refund or reshoot obligation.


7. Wardrobe, Hair & Make-up

7.1 Clients are responsible for providing their own costumes and clothing.

7.2 Guidance on suitable wardrobe choices will be provided prior to the shoot where appropriate.

7.3 Hair, make-up, and grooming are the Client’s responsibility unless explicitly included in writing as part of the package.


8. Catering & Refreshments

8.1 Food, refreshments, and lunch arrangements are the Client’s personal responsibility, unless expressly stated otherwise.


9. Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

9.1 Clients will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to the shoot date.

9.2 This NDA will cover, but is not limited to:

  • Scripts;
  • Production methods;
  • Other performers;
  • Unreleased footage;
  • Commercial or creative information.

9.3 Failure to sign the NDA may result in the booking being cancelled without refund.


10. Delivery & Usage

10.1 Final edited materials will be delivered within the timeframe agreed for the relevant package.

10.2 Footage is intended for personal professional use, including casting platforms, showreels, and self-promotion.

10.3 Stage One Talent reserves the right to withhold delivery where contractual obligations (including payment or NDA signing) are not met.


11. Liability

11.1 Stage One Talent will take reasonable care in providing the Services but does not guarantee casting outcomes, representation, or employment.

11.2 We are not responsible for:

  • Personal injury resulting from failure to follow instructions;
  • Loss of personal belongings;
  • External factors beyond our control.

12. Governing Law

12.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

12.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
