From Actor to Filmmaker
“Some stories live inside you until you find the courage to tell them.”
After establishing myself as a professional actor, I always knew I would eventually step behind the camera. Storytelling has been part of my life from the moment I first stepped onto a set. One of my earliest experiences was with ITV Studios, and it was there that I discovered my fascination with how drama is created — the detail, the atmosphere, the emotional precision behind every moment.
Acting teaches patience, but waiting for someone else to choose you was never in my nature. I wanted to shape my own future and create stories that mattered to me. That determination is what led me to produce my own work — and now, my first feature film.
Announcing My First Feature Film: EVI
I am proud to officially announce that I am producing my first feature film, EVI, a visually rich and emotionally grounded drama inspired by the quiet, often unspoken weight of grief.
About the Film
EVI follows a young girl and her mother as they navigate loss through silence, memory and the subtle details that shape their daily lives. A letter. A glance. A river. A rabbit. These elements act as emotional anchors throughout the narrative.
The film is intimate rather than loud. It sits tonally alongside works such as:
- Aftersun
- The Banshees of Inisherin
- The Silent Child
Projects where stillness, tone and visual honesty carry the story as powerfully as dialogue.
Visual Style
We are shooting with a cinematic dynamic range, using an external recorder and carefully selected LUTs to achieve a textured, film-like aesthetic. The aim is to create an image that feels organic, timeless and emotionally immersive.
Current Stage of Production
EVI is currently in pre-production.
Locations are being finalised, shot lists are being developed and early rehearsals are underway.
Updates will be shared here throughout the process.
